To apply for the Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, eligible women can register for the scheme online or offline. The online registration process can be completed through the Seva Sindhu portal. The offline process can be completed by visiting Grama One, Bangalore One, or Karnataka One office.
The eligibility criteria for the scheme include being a permanent resident of Karnataka, not having any land in the applicant’s name, and belonging to either the BPL or APL category. The government will start receiving applications for the scheme from June 16, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. onwards.

Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme
The Karnataka Government has launched the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme to empower women and advance gender equality. The scheme provides monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 to the head women of a house. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to housewives, landless women, and agricultural workers, empowering them with a monthly installment of Rs. 2,000 directly transferred to their bank accounts. The scheme is for those whose family annual income does not exceed 2 lakhs. Around 1.20 crore women in the state would benefit from this scheme. The Karnataka Government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 every month to eligible women from August 15, 2023.
