EPF Balance Passbook
EPF (Employee Provident Fund) passbook is a facility that allows members to view their passbook for transactions made on the Unified Member Portal. The passbook will be available for viewing after 6 hours of registration. You can check your PF balance online using the EPFO portal or through mobile apps. The passbook provides a summary of transactions (deposits and withdrawals) per associated establishment done in your PF account for the last 3 months.

How often is the EPF passbook updated?
The EPF passbook is updated with the interest earned on the account. According to the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Rameshwar Teli, updating the passbook with interest is just an entry process, and the date on which the interest is entered in the passbook has no financial implications for the account holder.
The passbook will be available for viewing after 6 hours of registration on the Unified Member Portal. The passbook provides a summary of transactions (deposits and withdrawals) per associated establishment done in your PF account for the last 3 months. Therefore, the passbook is updated with the interest earned on the account, and the date of entry in the passbook does not affect EPF interest credit.

I can’t see my PF balance
